The Centre for European Studies (CES) and the Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (EURUS) are pleased to announce that Professor Joan DeBardeleben has been awarded Carleton University’s Building Connections Award 2013. We are very happy for Dr. DeBardeleben as her hard and dedicated work deserves this high recognition. As the Delegation of the European Union to Canada, who was one of the supporters of the nomination, also stated:

“Based on the EU Delegation’s history of engagement with Professor DeBardeleben, I believe that her work has enabled Carleton University to have a visible and significant presence on EU affairs.”
