EURUS Internship Program

The Institute administers an optional internship program for fourth-year EURUS undergraduate and graduate students. Following a selection process, successful applicants are placed with an Ottawa-based organization during the winter semester for, on average, one day per week. Students selected for the internship program also register in a 0.5 credit course EURR 5301/4206 that supplements the internship experience. Many students have found the internship program to be integral to their time at EURUS as it provides them with valuable work experience in a field related to their studies, gives them the opportunity to network, and introduces possible career paths.

Examples from Past Placements

EURUS students who participate in the European Union Study Tour and Internship Program may also choose to participate in the optional European internship option that is open to students who have completed the EU Study Tour.
