“Life By the Blade,” made by Taylor Ryan and Tyler Vick, students in FILM 2801 has been selected by CBC-Ottawa to be part of the program “Absolutely Ottawa” in their segment Ottawa Docs, which will air on August 1st at 7:00 p.m.
“Life by the Blade” gives a look inside the life of fellow Carleton student Jeff Hough as he balances his university studies while competing at a extremely high level of figure skating; how he must live a life that demands such a strict schedule in order to achieve his dreams of an aerospace engineering degree as well as one day making it to the Olympics
