Marc Furstenau has published an essay on Terrence Malick’s celebrated 2011 film, The Tree of Life, as part of a collection of essays on the film by philosophers and film theorists. The book, The Way of Nature and the Way of Grace: Philosophical Footholds on Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life, is edited by Jonathan Beevor and Vernon W. Cisney, and published by Northwestern University Press.
