Carleton University Student French Association (CUSFA)
The Organization works towards providing assistance for Carleton University students who are interested in learning and improving their French language skills. Membership will be targeting students in the French program (BAs, Minor and Masters) however, all interested students are encouraged to join. The Organization will have a primarily academic focus in all activities and events. These will be aimed at providing students with opportunities to enrich their French Studies at Carleton (through study groups and study activities), to liaise with the Department of French about students’ academic needs and initiatives, to strengthen the community of Carleton French students and alumnae, to develop networking and job-related skills (information sessions about options after graduation, career seminars, French job interview and resume workshops, etc.) In addition, we are hoping to partner with companies that provide French language resources to provide discounts for our members.
