Vanessa Capy
I am a second-year MSc student in the Geography program at Carleton University. I am being supervised by Jesse Vermaire and John Milton. I completed my undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies at Carleton University. My passion for the physical environment led me to continue my studies in the field of geography.
My research focuses on the impacts of macrophytes on ecosystem health in the Eastern Ontario region. Specifically, I am examining the impacts of macrophyte removal in relation to land-use and water quality in the Rideau Waterway.
During my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and snowboarding.
