Ravens 4 Mental Health
More than ever, Carleton’s ongoing commitment to always “Strive for Wellness” must inform everything we do. As part of this commitment to wellness, we are excited to announce Carleton’s continued participation in The Shoppers Drug Mart® Run for Women 5K and 10K walk/run in support of The Royal and local women’s mental health programs.
As part of this initiative, we invite you to join Carleton’s “Ravens 4 Mental Health” team.

Race location (Updated): Lansdown Park – The Great Lawn
Schedule:
8:15 a.m. – 1K Little Steps presented by Culturelle Kids
8:35 a.m. – Welcome and Warm-up
9:00 a.m. – 10K Run start
9:15 a.m. – 5K Run start
9:20 a.m. – 5K Walk start
Virtual race options are available for both 5K/10K Walk/Run as well as the 1K Little Steps. For anyone completing the virtual walk/run the deadline to complete and submit any results is June 2, 2024.

Included in your registration fee is an amazing Shoppers Drug Mart swag bag filled with over $100 in products, a t-shirt and finisher bracelet.
We encourage you to invite others to register as well – your family, friends, colleagues, students, or other people in your networks – and participate in this amazing opportunity to support mental health programs and partner with the amazing Royal Ottawa, which does so much to provide critical care to members of our greater Ottawa community.
You can also join our Lunchtime Run Group that will meet every Friday in May leading up to the Race Day. The Lunchtime Run Group will be led by Jennifer McPhee, a member of the Carleton community and is the Recreation Program Coordinator in Athletics.
We hope you will consider joining our team! To date, Carleton has raised over $20,000 in support of mental health programs in our region. Together, we can continue make a big difference to support mental health in our community. We look forward to the Run for Women and hope to see you there!
