New Instructor in Russian and Soviet History

The History Department is pleased to welcome Dr. Erica Fraser as the new Instructor I in Russian and Soviet History.

Dr. Fraser will be busy preparing the second-year Russian history survey course (HIST 2600A) and the first-year course on Europe in the 20th century (HIST 1002A), in addition to a fourth-year course on the centenary of the Russian Revolution (HIST 4201A), and a third-year course on the history of the Soviet Union (HIST 3902B).

A doctoral graduate of the University of Illinois, MA graduate of UBC, and BA graduate of the University of Calgary, Dr. Fraser comes to us with a solid experience of four years of undergraduate teaching as Assistant Professor at Goucher College in Baltimore.  Over the last few years, she has also taught as a Contract Instructor for the History Department, EURUS, and the Department of History of the University of Ottawa.
