With the assistance of Instructor Michael Ostroff and the dedicated staff of the Media Production Centre, students in this year’s HIST 4302 – Making Documentary History – have been busy editing their documentary entitled “Prosser – Portrait of a Small Town”. This promising new film will examine the value of a small town photographer in Gananoque from the 1930s to the 1970s. Featuring inhabitants of the town, along with Professor Carol Payne of Carleton’s Art History Department, the documentary will be premiering soon at the Arthur Child Heritage Museum in Gananoque.

The production team behind this undergraduate student-led film includes History students Christine Smith and André Bourbeau along with Journalism students Heather Keary and Carly Picket. Below are some images of their editing work in progress.
