Those who have configured phone calls as their default Microsoft MFA method may not be having the best user experience, as they must receive a phone call to authenticate. These phone calls may arrive at inconvenient times. Those with phone calls as their default authentication method may wish to change their default authentication method to the Microsoft Authenticator app.
To do this:
- Login to your Microsoft profile at aka.ms/mysecurityinfo using your MyCarletonOne account credentials.
- Click on Change at the end of the line that starts with Sign-in method when most advisable is unavailable.
- Select the App based authentication – notification.
