Once Your Account Has Been Configured with Microsoft MFA:

- You can log into services as you normally would.
- Acknowledge the notification on your device by entering the on-screen number and selecting Yes to continue to log in.
How Often You Can Expect to Be Prompted
- Microsoft MFA protected web services: each time you quit and restart your browser, or use a different browser you can expect to be prompted. Opening another web service from the same browser will not cause an authentication prompt.

What Should You Do if You Accidentally Enter the Wrong Number When Prompted?
- You will see the following message in the Microsoft Authenticator on your phone: The number you entered did not match. Select Ok.
- Your browser screen will display the following message: We’ve sent a notification to your mobile device but didn’t receive the expected response. Please try again. Select Use a different verification option.
- You will see a list of options. Select Send notification to my mobile app.
- Acknowledge the notification on your phone by entering the on-screen number and selecting Yes to continue to log in.
