Updating Computers and Devices

It is important that updates are installed on a regular basis to maintain the security and performance of your device.

We recommend that you check each device for updates at least once per week. Many devices have options that can be enabled to automatically install updates when they are available.

Please be aware that after installing updates, your device may need to restart. While you should receive a notice and a prompt to reboot, we do recommend that you save any work before starting the update process, and close any programs before you start any update process.

Please check for instructions for your device below. If your device is not listed, or if your device looks different than the information provided, please refer to any vendor support or instructions that may be available.
