Carleton University Management Toolkit
The Carleton University Management Toolkit aims to provide curated resources and tools to support managers in their daily work in managing both academic staff and professional services staff. The toolkit will be freely accessible to individuals in management roles at Carleton. It will answer key challenges confronted by managers, such as conflict de-escalation, performance management, leave and accommodations, training and skill development, and union hiring practices.
Recess Reboot: Office of Edition
Building on the initiatives of Healthy Workplace and in response to the need for enhanced staff engagement and wellness, our Strategic Impact Group proposes the introduction of loanable game-based kits aimed at infusing play into the work environment at Carleton. These kits, conceptualized as easily accessible, engaging resources, are designed to encourage low-commitment. spontaneous, and light-hearted play and fun among colleagues. The objective is to create opportunities for staff to engage in activities that are not only enjoyable but also foster team building, creativity, and a sense of community.
