Optimizing Collaboration Across Carleton
Collaboration exists at Carleton, but barriers like silos, time constraints and knowledge gaps can often hinder efficiency. By leveraging existing resources—such as networking opportunities, internal knowledge hubs and structured onboarding—Carleton can optimize collaboration for faculty and staff across units, improve workflow efficiencies, and foster a more connected environment.
Future-Proofing CU: University-wide Technology Training
Our University’s Digital Strategy in alignment with the SIP, aims to leverage digital technologies for operational excellence. A key element of success in the evolving technological landscape is the digital literacy of our community. We examine the current framework for providing training to staff as they begin and progress in their career at the University. Through consultations with colleagues leading various technology verticals as well as leaders and administrators, we will attempt to explore challenges and opportunities posed by introduction of new technologies and preparedness of our community to adopt them.
