Carleton Leader “Summer Camp”
Tuesday May 26th
8:30am – 4pm
2017 DT
This is a full day of activities to continue your leadership development and provide an opportunity for you to meet up and network with the colleagues from your cohort as well as meet new Carleton Leaders!
On May 26th we will provide both a morning and afternoon event (obviously with a delicious and nutritious lunch in between!)
In the morning, we will be discussing the principles and objectives of Fierce Conversations. This is an opportunity for you to return to the meaningful conversations framework and practice some conversations with colleagues in a supportive and safe environment. Even if you have completed the new two-day workshop, or have yet to experience a Fierce conversation this will be a great opportunity to practice as there is always another conversation we need to have. The morning will be facilitated by our very own Carleton Leaders and Fierce experts, Rebecca Bowie Professional Development Officer and André Loiselle Assistant Vice-President (Academic).
In the afternoon, we will be joined by Françoise Morrisette, M.Ed., P.C.C. a faculty member at Queen’s University Industrial Relations Centre and notable consultant, author in the field of transformational leadership and organizational development. Françoise will be speaking to us about leadership capacity and how we can work better together in order to enhance the leadership capacity and mobilize the leadership community here at Carleton.
Please join us!
You can register for either the full day or half day depending on your availability here: http://carleton.ca/leader/carleton-leader-summer-camp/
