My research focuses on mental health and its impact on marginalized and vulnerable populations. I am particularly interested in how systemic factors, including gaps in mental health services and social determinants, contribute to crisis situations and adverse outcomes. My work examines police interactions with individuals experiencing mental health crises, with the aim of improving early intervention and crisis response strategies. I am also interested in research focused on improving safety and well-being, particularly for children in vulnerable or unsafe environments.
