My research interests focus on health psychology, stigma, health behaviours, and medical interventions. I am particularly interested in understanding how experiences of psychological distress, such as stigma, can influence health-related behaviours and outcomes. My current research examines diabetes stigma and its behavioural consequences, including healthcare avoidance, as well as the factors that may contribute to experiences of stigma. I am also interested in how these experiences can influence individuals’ health and well-being.
