These videos were filmed in early summer 2023 and are intended for general guidance only. It is your responsibility to follow your academic audit and seek clarification where necessary in order to meet graduation requirements.

Note BIOL 1103 & 1104 were not offered in Summer 2023 and are therefore not a reliable summer offering despite what I said in the video.
Meeting with Heather can help you develop a greater understanding of your audit, an important document for navigating your degree that you use in conjunction with the Undergraduate Calendar and schedule of course offerings in Carleton Central. Audit literacy can drastically improve the administrative side of your academic experience, bringing more ease to course selection and the navigation of program requirements.
Heather strives to offer compassionate academic counselling while holding you accountable for your responsibilities as a student. She is a good person to connect with between the time the schedule gets released and when your time ticket opens for registration, as she can clarify the different types of elective categories and strategies to choose them, as well as what you need to consider in terms of prerequisites and course sequencing.
Although she cannot answer all your questions, Heather aims to demystify processes and connect students with appropriate resources. She can be reached at neuroscience@carleton.ca and typically replies within 2-3 business days. More complex matters may take longer.
