CU 1001 – Your Start to Student Life at Carleton
Program Description
A virtual mini-course experience providing new students with a focused introduction to the Carleton community. CU 1001 includes modules that explore the 5 Success Pillars: Academics, Finances, Campus Life, Wellness and Employability through online videos and quizzes that can be accessed at your own pace through the summer.
Participation Type
Participation strongly encouraged. Participants will also have the exclusive opportunity to register for CU 1001 Experience Days featuring in-person presentations and campus tours led by our CU 1001 Orientation Leaders.
Dates
July 1, 2022 – September 30, 2022. Asynchronous course that can be completed at your own pace.
Cost
This is a free program available for new Carleton Students.

Fall Orientation
The program focuses on helping students adapt socially, academically, and culturally to Carleton and the Ravens community through a week full of fun activities during the start of September.
CU 1001 – Experience Days
The opportunity for new students and their family/guests to attend in-person presentations and receive tours of Carleton’s beautiful campus led by upper year students. Must be registered in CU 1001 General Course to gain access.
Academic Orientation Day
An afternoon of events specific to each student’s faculty and department taking place September 6, 2022.
