Upper Year Orientation
Carleton offers a variety of orientation programs for students to help ensure a successful transition into university. This year we will once again offer an orientation option for upper year students. Students will have the chance to participate in programming with a focus on building their network, making connections, and gaining the necessary skills that will help them succeed during their time at university and preparing for their career after Carleton.
Upper Year Orientation students will receive Ravens swag and an opportunity to participate in the events listed below:

Athletics Night!
6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Description: Check out our sports facilitie
s and play few games while you’re at it! We will have an assortment of options taking place throughout the night including soccer, swimming, glow yoga, fitness classes, dodgeball, wheelchair basketball, and our legendary giant game of musical chairs. (full lineup to be posted in August)
Locations: Ravens Nest, Fieldhouse, Carleton Pool and Fitness Centre

Explore Ottawa Night
7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Description: Fall Orientation has partnered with several local establishments across Ottawa; this is your opportunity to discover the city while visiting some local Ottawa institutions.
Participants are encouraged to use their U-Pass to visit various locations across the city; at each location Fall Orientation Leaders will be able to give you a voucher to redeem a treat.
Locations and items to be announced at the start of Fall Orientation. Last year’s featured items included poutine, pizza, ice cream, and shawarma offerings.

CU at the Closeout Concert!
8:00 p.m. (doors at 7:00 p.m.)
We will be announcing our 2024 Fall Orientation Close Out Concert later in August. This concert is exclusive to Fall Orientation and Upper Year Orientation participants, attendees will need to show your wristband to get in.
Must wear your orientation bracelet, no bags, no food or beverages.
NO TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE.
