Register for PMC Fall Orientation 2025
All new PMC students are invited to PMC Fall Orientation on August 28 from 12:30 to 4:30pm.
This half-day, in-person event is designed to help you transition to university while becoming familiar with the resources and services available through the PMC and Carleton University.
PMC Orientation 2025 Will Include…
- Learning at University: Insights from a professor on what to expect in class and how to meet academic expectations in university.
- Student Panel: Hear from upper-year PMC students about their experiences at Carleton and with PMC.
- Breakout Sessions:
- “Thriving in Your First Year: Skills, Tools, and Support for Mental Health & Wellness” with Kristie Tousignant, Associate Vice-President (Student Health & Wellness)
- “Learning Strategies & Managing Your Academic Course Load” with Amanda Blais, Sr. Disabilities Learning Support Coordinator at PMC
- “PMC 101: Your Guide to Academic Accommodations” with Candice Kavanagh, PMC Disabilities Coordinator and Learning Strategist
