- Online CV Benchmarking - Provost and VP (Academic), VP (Research and International)

The goal of this benchmarking project is to research and plan for an institution-wide, online academic CV database and template tools for Carleton faculty and students. Information in the database will also be accessible to Carleton faculty and staff for analysis, reporting, and to seek opportunities for collaboration.
The objectives of this project are:
- To identify new and innovative ways to develop academic CV’s through quick and easy templates for research funding and grants; awards; applications for employment; contract renewals; performance reviews (CDI’s); tenure; promotion; and web posting
- To support planning and interdisciplinarity across campus by collecting academic CV and other related information for purposes such as analysis, planning departmental resources, communications, program accreditation and statistics, a database of research work and interests, and other purposes.
- To adapt and expand the database and tools for future opportunities.

The goal of this benchmarking project is to identify the extent to which Carleton graduate students are familiar and satisfied with services offered to them by the university and the tools used by the FGPA to communicate with them.
The objectives of this project are:
- To align services to graduate students at Carleton University with those offered by leading institutions.
- To gain a better understanding of which services graduate students are familiar with and access regularly.
- To identify student’s level of satisfaction with graduate services specifically.
- To assess student’s level of satisfaction with current communication tools that promote graduate student services, events, and opportunities on campus. As well as look for new ways to engage graduate students through communication technology.
- To inform the FGPA and make recommendations to service providers across campus.

- Environmental Health & Safety Benchmarking - Facilities Management and Planning

The goal of this benchmarking project is to review best practices in Environmental Health and Safety to improve program and service delivery to the Carleton community; to decrease corporate risk to the institution through decreasing injuries to staff and students, increasing compliance with health and safety legislation; to strengthen linkages with the Science and Engineering faculties; and enhance the safety culture within the Carleton Community.
The objectives of this project are:
- To identify best practices in EH&S to assist in identification and bridging of service and program gaps, and establishing Carleton program priorities for the next three to five years.
- To increase organizational engagement in EH&S initiatives through communication strategies
- To strengthen linkages with the Science and Engineering faculties by provision of innovative, risk-decreasing tools to assist research endeavours.
