WiCS E-Buddy program is a 6-week program that pairs incoming first years with upper-year students in Carleton WiCS Community. Hold one-on-one meetings with your buddy every week, attend events together and get a chance to win some exciting prizes.
Begins: September 13th, 2021
Ends: October 25th, 2021
Duration: 6 weeks
Requirements:
· Upper Year Computer Science student (2nd + year) enrolled in Computer Science at Carleton University
· Have a passion for increasing women’s representation in CS
· Patient and an active listener
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Able to meet with mentee for one-on-one for a set number of minutes (at least 30 minutes)
· Knowledge on Carleton University programs and services available for students
