Carleton continues to excel in research, with 93 researchers named among the world’s top 2% most-cited scholars in the prestigious Stanford-Elsevier list. A significant part of this recognition reflects the contributions of Carleton’s School of Computer Science, where faculty are making meaningful strides in areas such as artificial intelligence, image processing, computation theory, networking, and strategic defence and security studies.
