Calling all data enthusiasts!
Mineral deposits are getting harder to find even as the demand for minerals continues to grow. The Next Generation Explorers Award is an international student competition looking to find innovative solutions for making mineral exploration more effective.
We are looking for Earth Sciences, Computer Science, and other undergraduate (any level) and/or graduate students to form a multidisciplinary team. No prior experience with geoscience data or mineral potential modelling is needed, although experience working with different types of spatial data, predictive modelling, machine learning, AI, and/or uncertainty analysis are considered assets for this competition.
Competition Details:

- Team: Carleton University is seeking to submit one or more teams
