Dear students and instructors/professors.
We are inviting you to participate in a research study conducted by the School of Linguistics and Language Studies of Carleton University that explores the lasting impacts of COVID-19 on learning and teaching.
Who Can Participate?
- Students at Carleton University, who are at least 17 years old.
- Professors at Carleton University who worked as professors both before and during the pandemic.
About the Study
Our study “From Shutdowns to the Classroom: Exploring the Lasting Effects of COVID-19 Education“, aims to understand how virtual learning during the pandemic impacted learning and teaching processes, student engagement, challenges, mental health, and its long-lasting effects. Your participation will help improve educational practices and create a more supportive learning environment.
What Do You Have to Do?
- Complete a 15-minute online survey.
- You may opt to participate in an interview.
How to Participate?
To participate, you must complete the survey using your Carleton email. You can also opt in to participate in an interview.
Compensation:
- Survey participants will be entered into two raffles for a $50 CAD Amazon gift card.
- Interview participants will be entered into two raffles for a $50 CAD Amazon gift card.
Note: participants who do not provide their Carleton email are not eligible for the compensation.
