Jointly hosted by the Faculty of Science and the Carleton University Institute for Data Science (CUIDS), Data Day is an annual conference that celebrates the latest developments in data science and analytics research.

Data Day 12.0 will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 in Carleton’s Richcraft Hall Atrium. A full schedule of events will be posted closer to the event date.

Data Day includes panel discussions by Carleton researchers and industry experts, networking opportunities, and a poster showcase to display student research in data science across all disciplines.

Each year, students from data science courses and other science disciplines bring their research to life at Data Day through the Student Poster Showcase.

This year, 25 students who submit their poster abstracts by March 4, 2026 will be selected to participate. Don’t miss your chance to share your work with the community – submit your abstract today!
