  • If you are teaching multiple sections of the same course and the delivery method is the same for all sections, you may use one form to reference all sections. Part 1 will reference the lecture section and Part 2 will be about the tutorial section. Please make sure you provide delivery information for both the lecture and tutorial section (if applicable).
  • A copy of this form will be sent to your email for review.
  • Part 1: Lecture Course Delivery Method

  • Note that the delivery method you select will be displayed in Carleton Central and on the Public Class Schedule for the section. (Glossary- Delivery Types)

  • The purpose of the questions below is to determine if the section is suitable for distance students who may not be able to come to campus for in-person in-term or final assessment.
  • Please add the distance exam info to your course outline. The following text "Scheduling and Examination Services (for a fee) offers a distance exam service for those students who are studying remotely and not able to come to campus for an in-person exam. More information can be found here: https://carleton.ca/ses/distance-exams/." will also be posted in the course comments section in the public class schedule. This will ensure that students are aware that there is an in-person assessment, and that an accompanying service is available, should they not be able to come to campus.
DISTANCE EXAM SERVICE - Scheduling and Examination Services (for a fee) offers a distance exam service for those students who are studying remotely and unable to come to campus for an in-person exam (https://carleton.ca/ses/distance-exams/). • NOTE: The course registration conflict attribution can be applied to either the tutorial or the lecture, or both. If conflicts are permitted, this means that there are no scheduled activities/assignments/exams during tutorial times or lecture times, and that the lecture and/or tutorial are delivered asynchronously.
  • Part 2: Tutorial Course Delivery Method

This section only applies if your course above has an accompanying tutorial section.
  • Note that the delivery method you select will be displayed in Carleton Central and on the Public Class Schedule for the section. (Glossary- Delivery Types)
