Back to the Future: Revisiting IPv6 Privacy Extensions

Abstract
We identify issues in current IPv6 privacy extensions and propose improvements that significantly enhance both the flexibility and functionality, to protect a client from being tracked as it moves between different IPv6 networks. This is achieved by generating a new interface identifier for each visited network.
