To improve the overall student computing experience in the 25 Student Public Labs and the 610 PC’s that ITS supports, ITS is:
- Replacing 122 PC’s with new ones as part of the Yearly Refresh Initiative. The entire inventory is now less than 4 years old and each year one quarter of the inventory will be refreshed with new PC’s. This reduces login times by 25 – 30 %.
- Installing the newly created software image that contains over 80 applications.
- Replacing damaged or worn PC hardware.
