Japanese Traditional Music, guest lecture and performance – October 22, 2015
View from the JSMRC
Guest lecturer and performer, Ryoko Itabashi preparing for the lecture
a very dynamic and interesting lecture / performance, enjoyed by more than 30 students
including student participation
the ‘taiko challenge’
Video, 23 seconds from the performance with student participation
The JSMRC is remarkably soundproof! While it may not be able to contain a performance by a ‘metal’ band at full volume, the sound of the drums was very faint just outside the front and side doors, and imperceptible in the new ‘silent’ wing.
