Assistantships

Teaching and research assistantships are normally awarded for two years (or four terms) at the MA level and are valued at a sum of approximately $8500 per year.

Internal Funding

Applicants with a minimum Grade Point Average of 10.0 (or a grade of A-) in their last ten credits of academic course work at the time of their application are eligible for University scholarships, valued at up to $6000 for one year. Applicants with a GPA of 11.0 (or a grade of A) in their last ten credits of course work are also eligible for an additional tuition scholarship, valued at $3000 for one year.

External Funding

Students are also eligible to apply for provincial and other external scholarships.
