Volunteer with Career Services as an Event Volunteer! 

Career Services hosts various events each academic year with the most notable being the Career & Networking Fairs twice per year. We are currently seeking volunteers to support the execution of events. Gain experience on campus and volunteer with Career Services as an Event Volunteer today! 

Please note Event Volunteer positions are open to current Carleton University Students only and are eligible to be added to your Co-Curricular Record.  

Event Volunteer duties include: 

  • Assisting with event set up and tear down 
  • Greeting event attendees and providing directional assistance 
  • Preparing information packages and performing check-in/registration  
  • Other event related tasks that arise on the day of the event 
  • Representing Career Services in a professional manner  

Skills Required: 

  • Reliability and punctuality 
  • Strong communication skills  
  • Comfortable engaging in conversation with event participants and staff 
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands of event in real time 

Volunteers can expect to receive a training session to support them in their assigned roles.
