This lecture by Dr Hungdah Su compared different strategies for Asian integration and their political implications for regional politics, placing them in a comparative perspective with European integration experience between 1945 and 1974. Dr Si is the Director General of the European Union Centre in Taiwan and a full-time Jean Monnet Chair Professor at the National Taiwan University.
