In this lecture, Dr John Kotsopoulos discussed the evolution of EU-African relations, in the context of the growth of the Global South, and the recent prominence of African countries and political organizations on the global stage.
Dr Kotsopoulos is a research consultant at the Centre for the Study of Governance Innovation, University of Pretoria. He holds a MA Degree in Political Science (Carleton) and a PhD in International Relations (University of Kent) with a focus on asymmetrical negotiations between the European Union and Africa.
