The Delegation of the European Union to Canada announces the EU-Canada Young Journalist Fellowship is accepting applications!
The EU-Canada Young Journalist Fellowship seeks a new generation of Canadian students and journalists who are interested in reporting about important issues of the European Union and be connected with European colleagues for professional development.

Eligibility:
In order to be eligible, participants must be:
- Actively enrolled in a Canadian university/post-secondary institution or active in the field of journalism,
- Between the ages 18-30 years, and
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
The three selected winning candidates will be hosted for a week-long all expense paid study tour to learn about EU institutions and will receive a one year subscription membership to Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ). The CAJ is a national professional organization which represents journalists in Canada and supports public interest advocacy. The Fellowship is a partnership between the CAJ and the Delegation of the European Union to Canada since 2015.
The week-long study tour is funded by the Delegation of the European Union to Canada and scheduled for the week of November 17, 2025. Fellowship recipients share their award winning work with the public as well as write about their experience with the study-tour.
