Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Canada

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA: ASPIRATIONS TO JOIN NATO AND THE EU

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a potential candidate for EU and a candidate for NATO membership. The opinion shift in favor or against these memberships will be discussed as also will further steps towards membership undertaken by the current government of Bosnia and Herzegovina. What role has Canada played in this process, and how have these accession efforts affected Canada’s relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina?
Before being appointed as an Ambassador to Canada in 2009, Mrs. Gutić – Bjelica held several key positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Communications of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
