The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at Carleton University and the CN-Paul M. Tellier Chair on Business and Public Policy at the University of Ottawa will organize an international research conference titled “European Union Trade Policy in the 21st Century.”
This full-day conference will bring together scholars from Europe and North America, mainly from the fields of political science and economics, to assess and discuss recent developments in the EU’s trade policy as well as challenges for the future. The conference will be divided in three main sessions: the EU’s trade strategy and process; the EU’s trade relations with important partners; and the politicization of trade policy in the EU.
