The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence and CN-Paul M. Tellier Chair on Business and Public Policy at University of Ottawa are very pleased to co-host the online workshop:

“Reassessing Economic Security: The EU’s Strategy, Transatlantic Challenges, and Opportunities for Canada-EU Cooperation”

The workshop will explore the European Union’s (EU) economic security priorities in a rapidly evolving global and transatlantic context, and will feature discussions on these key themes:

  1. The EU’s Economic Security Strategy: what it is, why it was developed, how it has performed to date, and how does it need to adapt to U.S. economic and security threats?
  2. Canada-EU Cooperation: how can and should both partners work together to enhance their shared economic security in light of Trump’s return to the White House?
