The Department of Chemistry has a long history of outreach activities, starting with its two flagship events: the Chemistry Magic Show and High School Superlab Visits. The events are organized by a team of energetic faculty members and graduate students. The activities aim to get students excited about chemistry, food science, and toxicology.
ENRICHMENT MINI-COURSES PROGRAM
The Enrichment Mini-Courses Program (EMCP) at Carleton University is organized by the Undergraduate Recruitment Office. Each year, the Department of Chemistry offers a few week-long courses specific to chemistry and its subdisciplines.
Courses run during the first week of May. Grades 8 to 11. Visit Carleton EMCP for course offerings.
