Summary of Corporate and Institution Opportunities

Outlined below are the various ways in which you can participate in the COSC 2016 Conference.  Details of each of these corporate opportunities are provided in this information package.  Please feel free to contact Dr. Scott Ryan, Dr. Jim Uniacke  LOC Chairs or Mrs. Wafaa H. Antonious  (613 421 7229), COSC 2016 Meeting Secretariat, with any questions or requests that you may have.  All prices are listed in Canadian dollars.

The sum of the items your organization elects to support from the list below will determine your organization’s level of sponsorship

Benefits of Conference Sponsorship

  • A pre-conference delegate list  (provided upon request any time between May 1 and June 1st, 2016)
  • A post-conference delegate list (provided by July 1, 2016)
  • Recognition in the Final Program
  • Recognition on the meeting website with link to your corporate or institution website
  • Recognition on conference promotional material
  • Recognition on prominent conference event signage

Keynote Lecture and Symposium Support

Keynote Lecture Support ($5,000).  This support will offset expenses related to the COSC Keynote Speaker who will present in the Keynote Lecture opening the conference.  Your organization’s sponsorship will be acknowledged at that session, your logo will be inserted on the keynote lecture and sponsors pages in the program book.

Symposium Support (5,000).  This support will offset expenses related to a COSC Symposium session during the conference.  Your organization’s sponsorship will be acknowledged at that session, your logo will be inserted on the symposium and sponsors pages in the program book.

Speaker Support (1,500).  This support will offset travel expenses related to a COSC speaker during the conference.  Your organization’s sponsorship will be acknowledged at that session, your logo will be inserted on the sponsors page in the program book.  You may opt to identify which speaker(s) you would like to support and request that the travel expenses are sent directly to your organization.

The Keynote Lecture, Symposium and Speaker Supports are exclusive sponsor opportunities, and will include the following benefits: recognition on the COSC conference website, acknowledgement in all printed conference materials including the Final Program; acknowledgement on signage displayed at the conference, verbal acknowledgement and recognition.

 Lunch & Coffee Break Support

Lunch Support ($2,500).  This support will offset expenses related to a delegate Lunch Break during the conference.  Your organization’s sponsorship will be acknowledged during the lunch break.

Coffee Break Support ($1,000).  This support will offset expenses related to a delegate Coffee Break during the conference.  Your organization’s sponsorship will be acknowledged at a coffee break.

The Lunch and Coffee Break Supports are exclusive sponsor opportunities, and will include the following benefits: recognition on the COSC conference website, acknowledgement in all printed conference materials including the Final Program; acknowledgement on signage displayed at the conference, verbal acknowledgement and recognition.  COSC is happy to accept in-kind support for the lunch and coffee-break sessions.

Awards Support

Student Symposium Award ($1,000)

The Canadian Oxidative Stress Consortium (COSC) is looking to expand its awards programs in the coming year.   We would like to work with your company to create new awards that match your company’s priorities and COSC’s mission.  The awards are an important part of COSC’s mandate to promote research and education in Canada, as well as recognizing the accomplishments of Canadian researchers in oxidative stress.

Some benefits of award sponsorship follow:
–          your company name on the award(s) and all award materials
–          recognition on the COSC website
–          recognition in COSC 2016 Conference print materials
–          recognition in the COSC Newsletter
–          Free ticket for a company representative to attend the COSC Banquet at the COSC Meeting, where award presentations are made.

Exhibiting ($1,000 1st booth)

You are invited to exhibit at the COSC’s 2016 Conference.  A limited number of display spaces will be available.  Exhibition will be 2 days in length, June 1st & 2nd2016. 8′ X 10′ booth (skirted table, 2 chairs, waste basket and 1 electric plug and Wireless Access).  Deadline for online reservation is May 1, 2016.

Technical Workshop ($1,350 Workshop)

You are invited to participate with a technical workshop at the COSC’s Conference.  A very limited number of workshop opportunities will be available.  The fees include 45 minutes time slot scheduled in the program during one of the poster sessions and a room that can accommodate up to 40 person.  Your workshop will be included in the program information on the COSC Conference webpage and the program book. Please note that if you choose to purchase a booth and a workshop, then we would discount the workshop price to $1000.
