Research: The Founder of the Canadian Oxidative Stress Consortium (COSC), Dr. Grover researches the effects of intracellular calcium on the endothelium and smooth muscle of the coronary artery. Specifically, he examines the effects of reactive oxygen species on the plasma membrane calcium pumps (PMCA), the sarco/endoplasmic reticulum calcium pumps (SERCA) and sodium-calcium-exchanges (NCX) in regulating excitation/relaxation of the cells of these tissues.
