Honours Research Project (CRCJ 4908)
- If you have completed the research methods courses for your concentration (LAWS 2908/3908, PSYC 3000 or SOCI 2001/2002) and your Major CGPA is about 10.0, you are eligible to do CRCJ 4908 next year. If you are interested and haven’t done so already, we would strongly advise you to secure a faculty member from Law, Psychology or Sociology to be your Honours Research Project supervisor. Once you have a faculty supervisor and know the topic of your paper, email this information to sandy_rochon@carleton.ca) or Norah Kielland (norah_kielland@carleton.ca). We will then enter Departmental Permission onto the system to allow you to register for CRCJ 4908.If your Major CGPA is not about 10.0 and you haven’t completed CRCJ 3000, then you might still be eligible to do CRCJ 4908. In this case, please contact Prof. Joanna Pozzulo (Joanna_Pozzulo@carleton.ca) for permission.
- If you are not interested in doing CRCJ 4908, then you will be required to do 1.0 credit (or two half-credits) in approved CCJ Electives at the 4000-level. Refer to the Undergraduate Calendar, our website or the pink information sheets available outside our office for a list of these courses. If you have any questions about CRCJ 4908 or CRCJ 3001, 3002, 3003, please contact us at 613-520-2588 or 613-520-2600 x 3767.
