IPAF 4900: Summer Research Opportunity
IPAF 4900 (0.5 credit) is a research experience course that gives students an opportunity to work one-on-one with a professor on his or her research, build research skills, gain relevant experience, and earn course credit.
This Summer, a placement is available working with Professor Dale Spencer on policing and offender management. This placement would be suitable for students entering fourth year – or students who are just finishing their degree – who have excellent writing and analytical skills, plus an academic background in criminology, law, and criminal justice. A GPA of at least 9.5 is required.
For Criminology students, this IPAF 4900 opportunity counts as a 4th year CCJ Approved credit.
