Simone Pennant is a second-year student at the ICCJ and was recently successful in her application to the Students as Partners Program (SaPP). With the support of SaPP, Simone will be working with Assistant Professor Alexander McClelland to develop content and teaching tools on issues of colonization, criminalization, poverty, and racial justice, for the winter 2021 version of the new course CRCJ 2200 Contemporary Issues in Criminology. Simone is interested in enhancing her research skills through this initiative.
