Dr. Stirrett Wins SSHRC Insight Award
Dr. Natasha Stirrett and co-applicant Karyn T.D. Recollet (University of Toronto) awarded SSHRC Insight Grant for their project Kinstillatory Methodologies: Enhancing Indigenous Networks Through More-than-human Kin.
This project brings together researchers, the Sixties Scoop Network (SSN), Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and artists to engage in land-based, somatic, and creative practices. Through these collaborative practices, the project generates Indigenous knowledges and cultivates ethical relations with human and more-than-human kin.
