The Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice is home to three active student groups that work beside and with one another to enhance the student experience.
The Carleton University Criminology and Criminal Justice Society (CUCCJS) is a student-led society open to all Carleton Undergraduate students and takes an intersectional and critical stance in approaching the field of criminology and justice. The ICCJ BIPOC Caucus is open to Black, Indigenous, and students of colour in the ICCJ community. Its goal is to support marginalized Criminology students by implementing support systems, programs, providing resources and essential services, as well as fun community building events. Crime and Ethos: Carleton Undergraduate Criminology Journal is a student-run academic journal dedicated to elevating undergraduate work within the field of criminology and related disciplines. Crime and Ethos aims to engage students in critical interdisciplinary work, promote current and future research initiatives, and contribute positively to the criminology community.
