A few faculty members from the Department of Economics presented (October 7th and 8th) ongoing research on a variety of topics such as the effects of cognitive decline and ageing on decision-making, new insights on business cycles, the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada,  measurement of risk in financial markets, and a new methodology for improving inference in empirical work. These projects also showcase active collaborations that departmental colleagues have with domestic and international scholars in both academic and non-academic institutions, and involve graduate students.

This event took place on October 7th and 8th, and has passed.
