Accreditation of Programs

Carleton University’s Bachelor of Engineering programs are accredited by Engineers Canada through the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board. If you graduate from an accredited program, you are academically qualified to start the process of becoming a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada.

Choosing an accredited undergraduate engineering program means your degree is recognized for professional licensure. Carleton’s bachelor programs have a long and reputable history of accreditation.

In line with the standard process for new engineering programs in Canada, accreditation for Mechatronics Engineering will be sought at the time of the first graduating class.
