First Year Registration

New First Year Students Admitted for Fall 2026

The contents of this page will guide you through your first-year course registration.  Please read the steps carefully and contact us if you have any questions that are not addressed within our web resources.

Time-tickets will open Monday, July 6 to Wednesday, July 8, 2026 for new first-year students.
Students are encouraged to register for courses using Carleton Central as soon as their time-ticket opens.

Your course registration process will depend on which of the following options best describes your academic profile:

New Students WITH English as a Second Language (ESL) Requirement.

New Students WITH Transfer Credits (Advanced Standing).

New Students WITHOUT  Transfer Credits or an ESL Requirement.
