Carleton University is proud to have one of Canada’s best student aid programs, providing more than 10,000 scholarships and bursaries each year.

Alumni, industry partners and friends of the university make this success possible.

Scholarships are awarded for academic merit, to reward our most talented and high-achieving students in any year of their studies. Students are automatically considered for scholarships for which they qualify without requiring an application.

Bursaries aid those students in most need of financial help and are granted on the basis of financial need. Carleton University offers bursaries to undergraduate students who are in receipt of some type of loan funding from either government student financial assistance or from a financial institution and continue to demonstrate financial need in order to finance their studies.
